HeapByte is committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable working environment. This Gender Equality Plan (GEP) establishes our strategic framework to ensure equal opportunities regardless of gender and to eliminate discrimination, bias, and inequality within our organisation.

This document serves as HeapByte’s formal Gender Equality Plan in accordance with European Union requirements, including Horizon Europe eligibility criteria where applicable.

  • Is approved and signed by top management

  • Applies to all employees, management, contractors, and collaborators

Top management is fully committed to implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving this plan.


3. Dedicated Resources

HeapByte commits appropriate human and operational resources to implement this GEP effectively.

This includes:

  • Appointment of a responsible Gender Equality Lead / Committee

  • Allocation of internal operational resources for equality initiatives

  • Engagement of external expertise where necessary

  • Documentation of meetings, initiatives, and implementation progress

Management ensures that gender equality objectives are integrated into strategic planning and organisational decision-making.


4. Data Collection & Monitoring

HeapByte commits to evidence-based monitoring of gender equality.

We will:
